Department: University Libraries

Dear Colleagues, in my 18 years at WCU I have served on most of the large university service groups and committees such as CAPC, Senate, and multiple APSCUF appointments. In all these bodies I have emphasized listening, fairness and support. I have proudly watched tenure-track faculty grow to great levels of achievement. It is my desire to bring this skill set and my experience to the Tenure and Promotion Committee. I have benefited greatly from my position here. I bring insight from the non-classroom faculty as well as from my classroom colleagues. I hope to show my gratitude by earnestly working to support the many skilled professors we have on campus. I know how important the work on this committee is to the mission of the university and to the people who drive our success. I hope you consider voting for me. Thank you.

It would be an honor to serve as Tenure and Promotion Committee Non-classroom Faculty Representative. I value the fairness and integrity at the heart of the tenure and promotion process here at WCU and would very much like to contribute to it, and bring experience in other areas of University service including Faculty Senate, CAPC, and the Faculty Mentoring Committee. I also have experience as classroom faculty at another institution and would be grateful for the opportunity to bring these perspectives together in service to our academic community. Thank you for your consideration.
