Jade Burris

Department: Early & Middle Grade Education

Colleagues, it would be an honor to serve as a CESW representative on TeP. During my tenure at WCU, I have served on my department’s evaluation committee and curriculum and assessment committee. Further, I’ve held roles on the following university committees, including leadership positions: Academic Recognition Committee (ARC), Curriculum and Academic Policies Council (CAPC), Council for Undergraduate Research (CUR), and the Research and Creative Activities Advisory Board (RCAAB). Additionally, I serve as Coordinator for the Early Childhood M.Ed. Program, and teach in the undergraduate and graduate education programs. I believe these roles have prepared me well to serve on TeP and it would be a privilege to serve the university in this way. Thank you for your consideration.
