Department: Graduate Social Work I would be honored to serve on the Tenure and Promotion Committee. I will bring vision, passion, and commitment to the committee. My tenure at West Chester University has included a variety of leadership positions over the years including as Secretary and Vice President of Faculty Senate, CAPC Representative, Graduate CAPC member, Co-founder and Chair of the Faculty Mentoring Committee, and Co-Chair of the University's Interprofessional Education Task Force which incorporates health and behavioral health disciplines across the Colleges of Health Sciences and the College of Education and Social Work. I have had a well-balanced academic career in teaching, service, and scholarship and can unbiasedly bring years of experience to the table in evaluating faculty for tenure and/or promotion. I was the 2015 Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award recipient. I also am the PI for a $1.6M HRSA grant for four years - 2017 to 2021, which will provide $10,000 stipend support to 100 MSW and MEd School Counseling students in their final year of field serving medically underserved populations. I will work tirelessly to uphold the high standards of this committee and make sure that the processes continue to be as open, supportive, and transparent as possible. Thank-you.
