Joseph Moser

Department: Languages and Cultures

I was just promoted to full professor in 2023, and I would love to contribute to the process of evaluating and supporting faculty across the university. Coming from a diverse department where we teach many different disciplines (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, TESOL, and ASL) I understand how important it is to relate to different disciplines, to different pedagogical approaches, and to a diverse range of research interests.

I have extensive experience from the Languages and Cultures Evaluations Committee, which I also chaired for one year. This work has allowed me to learn how to support colleagues through the important tenure and promotion process.

I am very interested in bringing this experience to TeP and I am committed to supporting our colleagues across the university. It would be a tremendous honor to serve on TeP.

Joshua Raclaw

Department: English

I have been a faculty member in the English department and Program in Linguistics since 2016. My service work as a mentor for the Faculty Mentoring Program and as a steering committee member for the Program for Effective Teaching and Learning (PETAL) has focused on supporting incoming and early career faculty across the university. Within my department I have also served as a member and chair on our committees for faculty evaluations, as a mentor for our early career faculty, and as member of a faculty search committee. As an interdisciplinary researcher and teacher who has fostered connections with colleagues across our campus, I am very acquainted with the range of scholarly, creative, and pedagogical activities that our many diverse faculty bring to the table.

I am eager to learn and to apply this experience in further supporting my colleagues across the College and University, and I would be honored to serve on the Tenure and Promotion Committee.
