Cristobal Cardemil-Krause

Department: Languages and Cultures

As interim Chair for the Department of Languages and Cultures for the 2018-2019 academic year and as promotion acting Chair for the current academic year, I have particularly enjoyed participating in the Tenure and Promotion process of my colleagues. I would welcome the opportunity of serving in this committee as a way to learn more about the work of colleagues around the institution and understand how their various activities articulate and reinforce our university's mission, vision, and values.

Eric Dodson-Robinson

Department: English

If elected, one important goal would be to help colleagues applying for tenure/promotion understand the process and navigate online submissions. I've been active in mentoring colleagues at the department and university level, both unofficially and in official roles (such as faculty mentor, for example, and Chair of CAPC Diverse Communities Assessment). At the department level, I recently chaired the committee that updated our Department Teacher Scholar Model, which is a key document in promotion and tenure evaluations.
