Jane T. Pippart-Brown

Department: Music Education

I have served on the Teacher Education Council since 1997. In addition to serving the music education department as chairperson, I acted as coordinator for student teachers and field experience placements for five years and as the department's coordinator for past NCATE, PDE, and Middle States' evaluation visits. Currently I sit on the PDE committee for the evaluation of teacher edcuation programs in the area of music education. Because of my years of service to the department, the PDE, and the TEC council, I believe that I bring a considerable amount of history and understanding to the workings of this committee. I have enjoyed serving on TEC in the past and hope to be a positive contributor to it in the future.
