Department: Languages and Cultures

As Assistant Professor, I have helped with developing the 2014 International Festival's Student Conference. I think these instances promote not only student research but also improve communication between them and faculty. I'd appreciate the opportunity to serve in this Council and help with defining new alternatives to foster undergraduate scholarly research.

Department: Languages and Cultures

I was fortunate to recieve opportunities to begin honing my research skills as an Honors undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota. It was through those opportunities that I both met the professor who would become my adviser in Graduate School and found my current field of study. Through this position, I hope to help create and support similar opportunities for West Chester University students in all disciplines so that they too can have the opportunity to learn important critical thinking skills in collaboration with professors and on their own, as well as have the opportunity to discover new talents and interests.
