Jennifer Bunk

Department: Psychology

I am running for a second term on the Faculty Mentoring Committee. During my first term, I was actively involved and I served as Co-Chair this past year. The FMC is going to be implementing some exciting changes and I would very much like to continue being involved. Mentoring has played a pivotal role in my professional development and I continue to be committed to the goals of this committee.

Department: Geology & Astronomy

While I have been at WCU for 8 years now, I still remember the difficulties of being a new faculty member trying to adjust to teaching a heavy class load, keeping up (or starting new) research, and learning how to navigate the policies and procedures of a new academic environment. I would enjoy the opportunity to assist in the mentoring process by being a part of the Faculty Mentoring Committee.
