  • This list in not official until nominations have been closed and the list of nominees has been reviewed and verified by the APSCUF Nominations and Elections Committee.

Regular Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences may be nominated.

Rules for the Election

    • All faculty members in a CAS department may vote in the elections.
    • Any chairperson of a department in the College of Arts and Sciences may be nominated for chairperson representatives.
    • Each department may have at most one elected representative.
    • The results of the chairs ballot will be determined first.
    • The election will be decided by plurality with the following stipulations:
      a. In the election for chairperson representatives, faculty members will be allowed to vote for three nominees. The nominee with the highest vote count will be elected to the committee. Of the remaining nominees, the nominee with the highest vote count among the chairpersons from the “sciences” will be elected and the nominee with the highest vote count among the chairpersons from the “humanities and social sciences” will be elected.
      b. In the non-chairperson faculty representative elections, the faculty member with the highest vote count that can be appointed without violating the previous rules will be elected to the committee. One faculty member representative will be from the “sciences” and one from the “humanities and social sciences”.
    • The appointment will last until the position is filled or the search is declared failed.
