Regular Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences may be nominated.

Rules for the Election

    • The election will be decided by plurality.
    • Department chairs and program directors may not be nominated for this election.
    • Members elected to the committee will ordinarily serve until the position is filled.
    • Only one faculty member from each department may serve on the committee.
    • The results of the election for representatives from among the department chairs will be decided first followed by the representative from among the program directors and then faculty representatives. Program directors belonging to the same department as a chair elected to the committee will be disqualified. Faculty members running in the election for faculty representatives (non-chairs) that belong to the same department as a chair or program director elected to the committee will be disqualified in the election for faculty representatives.
