Department: Art + Design

If elected to serve, I could provide a perspective from the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Having personal experience with the tenure and promotion process at WCU, I could support those moving through the process, since the arts disciplines use unique teacher-scholar models. In addition to publishing and giving conference presentations, faculty also exhibit and perform as part of their scholarship. With the Promotion and Tenure process transitioning to online applications, I could also provide guidance as to how visual and performing arts can be presented in the new format.
