Department: Kinesiology

It is with pleasure that I submit my name for nomination in the special election for Research Consortium President. I have been a member of the Research Consortium since its beginning (academic year 2002-2003), and am presently serving as Vice President. Roger Barth will be a hard act to follow as he has been one of the driving forces behind the activities of the Research Consortium since its founding by Kostas Myrsiades (English). Organizing Research Day is the Consortium's primary focus and is one of the most important venues that WCU has to display the scholarship of our faculty and their students. I hope that the enthusiasm grows and participation increases. That would be my vision as president.
