Department: Chemistry

I have been Research Consortium president since the first Research Day in 2002. We have done much to raise the profile of research at WCU, but much more needs to be done. My priority is to maintain and enhance the existing Research Day program. It would be good would be to work with the Deans' Council to move in the direction of providing graduate assistants with professionally meaningful assignments that could include research. If we can get a Fall event going without too much strain on RC volunteers, I'd love to do that. We need to devise ways to keep in better touch with the RC members.

I look forward to your continued support. --Roger
