Rules for the Election

    • The election is decided by a plurality of those casting votes.
    • Faculty may be nominated as both a school, college, or non-classroom faculty representative and as an at-large representative; however, candidates elected as a school, college, or non-classroom faculty representative will be removed from the list of nominees for the election of at-large representatives.
    • Each candidate selected counts as a cast vote.

Department: Health

I have served on Faculty Senate for ten years, and Executive Committee for four years. I would like to continue to serve in this capacity to be an advocate for positive change at the university.

Scott Heinerichs


Department: Sports Medicine

I have been a faculty member at WCU for the last 7 years. I would like to serve on faculty senate so that I can be a voice for faculty members in the decision making process to benefit the university community. I have served and continue to serve on numerous departmental and college committees and currently serve on the board of directors of our state athletic training organization.
