Jacqueline Hodes

Department: Educational Foundations & Policy Studies

Colleagues, I would welcome your support for a seat on the Faculty Senate. I have attended Faculty Senate as a proxy for a number of years. I would like to have the opportunity to share knowledge acquired from past committee work including CAPC and APSCUF and current involvements including Graduate Council, PTW, and First Year Student Scheduling. I am always interested in the conversations at Senate as they relate to faculty and student welfare and equity. I would be honored to lend my voice and energy to the good work done in this group. Thank you for your support.

Mary Houser

Department: Special Education

I am currently a CESW representative for Faculty Senate and am completing my current term. I greatly desire continuing in this capacity. Continuing to be part of this committee's role of shared governance by advocating and evaluating institutional policy and related matters affecting the welfare of the University, continues to be important to my professional goals at WCU.

Department: Graduate Social Work

Colleagues, It has been a true honor and pleasure to serve as Senator for the last 3 years. During this time, I've met wonderful colleagues from different colleges, learned a great deal about university functioning, culture and climate initiatives, and proudly served as the LGBTQIA+ Senate Liaison. I would very much appreciate your vote to represent the College of Education and Social Work for another term. Thank you.
