David L. Bolton

Department: Educational Foundations Policy Studies

I've been a contributing member of the Faculty Senate since 2015 and would like to continue my work there. My primary focus has been on the Research Committee. My first term allowed me to become acquainted with the work of the Senate. I would like to expand my participation during my second term to take more of a leadership role.

Mary A Houser

Department: Special Education

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Special Education in my fifth year at WCU. My desire to become a member of the Faculty Senate stems from my interest in learning and contributing to the committee’s broad governance over issues related to curriculum, student policies, and admissions to name a few. I am seeking greater involvement in committee membership that will make WCU a better place to work and study. I welcome the exchange of ideas with fellow senate members to aid in the betterment of the University. I have served as a proxy on this committee in the past.
