David Bolton

Department: Professional and Secondary Education

The Faculty Senate is an important part of the life of our campus. I have been a proxy member for the last three years. Every time I have attended the Senate meetings, I have found critical issues being discussed and I have always come away informed and impacted by the information provided and the discussions. I would like to become more engaged in this important body. And so I am seeking to become a senator. I have been able to make a significant impact on the committees I've participated in on campus. And I would like to now do so in the Senate.

I am submitting my name for nomination for a second term in the Faculty Senate. I want to continue working with faculty from across the university on important issues that affect the quality of education for our students, as well as help to ensure that our faculty have the opportunity to grow professionally and to share in important academic decisions.
