Department: Psychology

Dear Colleagues,

I have served as a CAS Representative to the Faculty Senate for the past three years. During much of this time, I have served as Chair of the Student Welfare Committee. As part of our committee work, we have collaborated with individuals from across campus to address issues of student behavior and emotions. We have contributed to some important advances on this front, and there are other important initiatives we're working on currently, including a program to train members of the campus community in how to talk with students who might be struggling, and help them connect with appropriate resources. I would like to have the opportunity to see this work through, and to contribute to other Senate efforts. I am hardworking, responsible, and open to different perspectives. I have a collaborative approach, and a strong commitment to issues of diversity. I would be honored to serve you for another term. I would appreciate your vote.

Sincerely yours,

Ellie
