Department: Art + Design

I previously served on the Faculty Senate before stepping away for increased service to my Department during the pandemic. Now, I feel that there are a range of complex challenges facing faculty in our college and the role of shared governance is incredibly important. I am highly motivated to join the Faculty Senate again, this time as a more experienced advocate for the faculty and student communities. As the CARHU representative, I would seek leadership roles and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues university wide. In particular, I am energized to make contributions in areas that include increased support for faculty research and scholarship, recruitment and retention, and student mental wellness. Thanks a lot for your consideration.
