Michele P Bratina

Department: Criminal Justice

Since 2016, I have served the University on the Curriculum and Academic Policies Council (CAPC), General Education Assessment Committee – Interdisciplinary (I) Course Assessment, the University Writing Council (UWC) Advisory Board, Advisor for National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) on Campus Student Organization; the College of Business and Public Management on the Interdisciplinary, Strategic Plan, and International Committees; the Department of Criminal Justice, as New Faculty Search Committee member, Co-Editor of the Alumni Newsletter, Website liaison, and as current Advisor for Nu Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. I am also engaged in service with the state as a member of the PA Statewide Forensic Interagency Task Force (FITF), and in the local community, through my membership on the Chester County Police Crisis Intervention Team Steering and Curriculum Committees. These various opportunities have helped to prepare me to serve as the Business and Public Management Representative on the Faculty Senate. I view my candidacy as an opportunity to support the faculty, students, and the College. Faculty Senate is an important forum, and I am committed to serve effectively. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to immerse myself in work that involves promoting growth and development of faculty and students, and I hope that you will consider voting for me. Thank you!
