Department: Economics and Finance

Dear Colleagues,

I kindly ask for your support to serve as CBPA representative on the Faculty Senate. Throughout this academic year, I have served as an active proxy for the Faculty Senate and look forward to the opportunity to continue as the CBPA representative for a three year term.

The Faculty Senate serves as an advocate for faculty, staff and student interests. As the CBPA Faculty Senate representative, I would work hard to ensure that the best interests of CBPA stakeholders are exhibited in institutional policy. During my graduate studies, I was able to serve in a similar capacity as the student representative on the board of examiners of my university.

I am committed to the ongoing success of our faculty, students and university, and look forward to the opportunity to contribute to the WCU community. Many thanks in advance for your consideration.

Sincerely, Gerry Abdesaken

Department: Accounting

Hi Colleagues, I am looking for your support as I seek election to the faculty senate. Although I would be new to this committee, I want to be involved in advocating and evaluating university policy. As accounting professor, current criminal justice graduate student, and alumna of WCUPA, I am committed to the continued success of the university. Thanks for your consideration.

Department: Management

I served as a designated proxy for Faculty Senate 2013-14 meetings. This experience of participating the Senate process gave me an opportunity to know what was happening with our university and to contribute to the welfare of the University.

I would like to continue my efforts by seeking election of a Faculty Senate CBPA Representative.

Thanks for your support.
