Sami Abdel-Salam

Department: Criminal Justice

I am an Assistant Professor in the Criminal Justice Department who began teaching here in the fall 2014. Since beginning at West Chester University, I have looked for opportunities to serve the campus community and to help improve the overall quality of the institution. I am currently serving as a Faculty Senate Proxy, but would like to become more actively engaged in the Senate and some of the subcommittees. This would be a great opportunity for me, and I welcome the challenge.

Eli DeHope

Department: Undergraduate Social Work

I have had the privilege of participating in the Faculty Senate for the past 12 years. I have served as its President, Secretary and currently as the Vice President. I have had the honor of being part of the Executive Committee for the past nine years and I would like to continue to actively participate in the Faculty Senate. I believe that the Faculty Senate has had a key role in insuring a positive campus climate for faculty and staff. I really like being part of something that advocates for all of us at West Chester. With your vote I can continue this work.

Thomas O. Miller

Department: Economics and Finance

As an Assistant Professor of Finance in my third year at WCU, I am seeking my first-term as a member of the Faculty Senate. This past year I've attended meetings as a proxy member and became greatly interested in serving on the Senate full-time. As a younger faculty member I believe I can bring a fresh prospective and if elected I will be committed to making this university and our College of Business and Public Affairs the best it can be. Thank you very much for your consideration.
