Rules for the Election

    • The election is decided by a plurality of those casting votes.
    • Faculty may be nominated as both a school, college, or non-classroom faculty representative and as an at-large representative; however, candidates elected as a school, college, or non-classroom faculty representative will be removed from the list of nominees for the election of at-large representatives.
    • Each candidate selected counts as a cast vote.

I'd like to participate and contribute to the WCU community by bringing more diversity to the Faculty Senate. I have been serving on New Faculty Orientation Committee for two years since I joined WCU in 2004.

Randolph T. McVey


Department: Criminal Justice

I have been on the Faculty Senate as an At Large Representative for the past several years and proxied for other faculty in my department since 1999. I would like to continue representing the interests of the faculty in the College of Business and Public Affairs. I believe I can provide the continuity of representation and voice for the entire university community.
