Walt Cressler

Department: Library Services

I seek election to the Faculty Senate as an opportunity to continue my service to the campus community. My past service includes two terms on CAPC, as well as participation on the Research Consortium, University Forum, and the President's Anti-Sexual Harasssment initiative. My experiences with addressing a wide array of curricular, research-related, and campus social issues has been good preparation for productive service on the Faculty Senate.

Jonathan Friedman

Department: History and Holocaust/Genocide Studi

As both a member of the History Department and Director of the Holocaust and Genocide Studies program, I have had the opportunity to assist the efforts of underrepresented groups and individuals whose identities speak to issues of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, and class and who seek a larger voice both at the university and in the wider community as a whole. I would bring the same level of commitment to addressing issues of diversity among faculty members as a participant on the faculty senate.
