Rules for the Election
Thomas P. AndrewsDepartment: Economics and Finance I strongly believe that the Senate is a positive force in the University Community. For the past two years it has been my pleasure to serve the Senate as Vice President. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to make a contribution. Nadine M. BeanDepartment: Graduate Social Work I am just completing my first, three year term as a Faculty Senate, At Large Representative. I have really enjoyed serving in the Senate and wish to continue to do so. In the three years that I have been involved in the Senate, I have served on the Executive Committee for two, served as Chair of the Curriculum and Research Committee for one year and have worked to develop a Mentoring Protocol in Research and Scholarship for probationary faculty members. I wish to continue my work in this area, which dovetails, perfectly, with my work as Vice President and Program Chair of the WCU Faculty Research Consortium. The Consortium was formed to promote and support opportunities for faculty development in scholarship and research actitivities at this university, even though WCU is primarily a teaching institution. Margaret ErvinDepartment: English As a new faculty member, I would like to join the Faculty Senate to support colleagues and to facilitate communicaiton across the university. I believe that my status as a probationary faculty member will add a valuable perspective to the Senate. yury polskyDepartment: Political Science My hope is to promote the values that I support and the objectives that have been outlined by West Chester University faculty and administration during my work here since 1989. I believe the experience that I have acquired during fifteen years of teaching at WCU will help me to carry out this mission. Created and copyrighted by Clifford Johnston, 2000-12 |
