Dr. Karen Dannessa

Department: Department of Applied Music

I joined the WCU faculty ten years ago with sixteen years of previous university teaching experience and I feel I have a firm grasp of the challenges and rewards of academic scholarship. I have had the pleasure of serving on the SaLe Committee for the last four years as the CVPA representative and would like to continue in this role. It is a pleasure to see the outstanding scholarship of WCU faculty and I enjoy learning about other disciplines. I would be happy to serve again as the CVPA representative to help fairly assess all academic applications. Thank you for your consideration.

Nancy J. Rumfield

Department: Art + Design

I would be honored to serve as the College of Visual and Performing Arts representative on the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee. In the past I had the opportunity of using a sabbatical for my visual research. This lead me to discover new aspects of my medium, which I shared in my classroom. Also, I served on this committee for fours years (2006 - 2010) and would like this serve again in support of CVPA faculty. Please consider supporting me as your representative in this election. Thank you.
