Tara S. Guerriero

Department: Special Education

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education. I am asking to be considered for the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee because I would be very interested in being a member of a committee that directly impacts my fellow colleagues. I began teaching at West Chester as an Adjunct Professor in 2006, and then began my Tenure-track position in 2008. I have really enjoyed being a member of the New Faculty Orientation Committee since I was a new faculty member. That committee has given me the opportunity to work with faculty members as they begin their careers at West Chester University. The SaLe committee would give me a similar opportunity to be a part of a committee that helps faculty members to further enhance their professional expertise and continue to grow and contribute as faculty members. Thank you for your consideration.

Donna R. Sanderson

Department: Early & Middle Grades Education

I would welcome the opportunity to service the university by being the College of Education Representative on the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee (SaLe). I have been a faculty member at West Chester since 2001. Having the opportunity to work with faculty members across campus while reviewing applications of projects/activities that enhance teaching, develops professional competence, and/or increases one's ability to serve the academic community is very appealing to me. I am always delighted to see the rich talent, creativity, and innovative projects that faculty members are engaged in here at West Chester.
