Department: Computer Science I am seeking election as the CSM Representative for the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee because I am committed to upholding high standards for faculty professional development. As an Associate Professor who has developed over 28 courses and contributed to several program developments, I possess the necessary experience to evaluate the feasibility and academic merit of leave proposals. My background as a Graduate Coordinator and my experience overseeing numerous research projects provide me with a firsthand understanding of how dedicated leave time translates into enhanced curriculum and student mentorship. If elected, I will advocate for fair, transparent policies and use my experience with curriculum development to ensure that approved leaves align with the practical realities of our college and the long-term success of our faculty.
