University level service is a very important responsibility for full time faculty. This is something that I have been committed to for my entire career at West Chester. Most recently I completed a term on the Tenure and Promotion Committee, and I would be honored to serve and represent my colleagues in another meaningful way. Sabbaticals and Leaves are so valuable for our continued growth as teachers and scholars, and when our students are the beneficiaries of that growth, it enhances the quality of our institution.

I joined WCU in 2012 and have served on committees for the Graduate College, CAPC, and the WCU Foundation. My experience with the Foundation was particularly focused on evaluating and approving faculty grant proposals, as we reviewed their research and project goals and budgets. I would like to serve on the SaLe committee to continue supporting faculty members' research pursuits.
