Department: Criminal Justice

I am eager to represent CBPM on the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee. As someone who is trying to balance an active research agenda while maintaining teaching/service commitments, I understand just how important sabbaticals are to faculty. This is a committee I would be passionate about participating on, and I would do my very best to ensure fairness and equity in the selection process.

Department: Management

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Management. Since 2018, I have served the University on the Faculty Mentoring Committee. I also engage service with the local community by serving Global Business Advisor for Chester County Economic Development Council. Those experiences will help to prepare me to serve the Business and Public Management Representative on the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee.

Sabbatical leave provides faculty valuable time for scholarly projects and professional pursuits, which will enrich the University. I have an active research agenda and serve as a reviewer for a broad range of journals, helping me perform the task of reviewing sabbatical applications. Additionally, it is an opportunity to see what other faculties plan to do during their sabbaticals.

I highly value this opportunity to encourage and support research and professional development across WCU. I would enjoy serving on this committee which focuses on the interests of WCU faculty. Thank you for your consideration.
