Department: Criminal Justice

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice. I recognize the important role the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee plays at WCU and also the significant time commitment and dedication associated with this position. I have led many large-scale research initiatives and served as a peer reviewer for grant applications at the state and federal level for many years. I would enjoy serving on this committee which focuses on the interests of WCU faculty. Thank you for your consideration.

Department: Marketing

Dear Colleagues,

My name is Liz Wang from the department of Marketing. When I was preparing my sabbatical application 2 years ago, I had received very useful advice and suggestions from my colleagues. This May, I just finished my sabbatical and my experience had very important impacts on my research, teaching and professional development.

I understand the impacts and the importance of sabbatical to faculty. I think that my recent and relevant experience may offer some help to my colleagues in the College of Business and Public Management on their sabbatical processes. I’d like to have the honor and opportunity to help my colleagues in the College of Business and Public Management. I hope that you can support me to serve as a representative in Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee in our College.

Thank you,

Liz
