Department: Economics and Finance

I am an Associate Professor in Economics and Finance department. I have served on various university committees, such as Faculty Senate, Promotion and Tenure Workshop committee, New Faculty Orientation committee, etc. From serving on these committees, I have learned different perspectives of the governance of the university. At the same time, I serve the faculty by helping them in terms of, for example, preparation of tenure binder, surviving the first year at WCU. I hope to get familiar with other committees on campus. Sabbatical and Educational Leave committee is such an important committee. I myself have benefited from sabbatical leave three years ago. I will strive to understand the process better and help our faculty get sabbatical leave to focus on their research or professional development when on leave. Thank you for your support!
