Emily Bullock

Department: Vocal and Keyboard

I would like to serve on SaLE because I have had the opportunity to serve on many School of Music and university committees, but have not yet had the opportunity to serve the School of Music and university on an upper level committee of this kind. I would also find it interesting to learn about my university colleagues' scholarship and research interests.

Jonathan Ragonese

Department: Ensembles - Wells School of Music

I have been a temporary faculty member for three years at the Wells School. This is my first year as a regular faculty member. I am currently serving on the APSCUF Anti-Racist Social Justice Committee. The work is rewarding, and is specific in nature to reviewing the institution's language and practices from a critical perspective, in hopes to create a more inclusive and equitable climate. I find this work rewarding. The chance to serve on the Sabbatical and Educational Leave Committee would allow me to become involved in a much different way, through the opposite lens of the Social Justice Committee, one that I believe would be enriching. Although the opportunity for sabbatical is far-off for me in my career here, the opportunity to review the interests and plans of my colleagues would be both insightful and an honor.
