APSCUF by-laws were approved, December 2011 and as per procedures, were forwarded to state APSCUF for review. The proposed revision is to bring the WCU APSCUF by-laws into compliance as related to electing representatives to serve on our APSCUF Nominations and Elections Committee.

Proposed change to WCU APSCUF By-Laws to bring them into compliance with State APSCUF by-laws.(First reading at Representative Council September 25, 2012)

ARTICLE IX: COMMITTEES (EXCLUDING EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE) Section B: Permanent Chapter Committees 2. Membership in Permanent Committees a. The members of the Budget Committee shall be the Chapter President, the Chapter Treasurer, and one of the at-large members of the Executive Committee selected by the Executive Committee. The Treasurer shall chair the Budget Committee.

b. The chair of the Election and Nominations Committee shall be the Chapter Corresponding Secretary. (CURRENT LANGUAGE)

b. The members of the Election and Nominations Committee shall be the Chapter Corresponding Secretary and two members elected at large from the Representative Council. The Corresponding Secretary shall chair the Elections and Nominations Committee. (PROPOSED LANGUAGE)
