Department: Sports Medicine I look forward to an opportunity to serve and represent the College of Health Sciences on the Promotion and Tenure Workshop Committee. I know first-hand how valuable these workshops can be to faculty who are preparing for tenure and promotion! As someone who has benefited from the work of the PTW Committee, I welcome the opportunity to support other faculty members going through this process.

Department: Health Thank you for reading my statement for the Promotion and Tenure Workshop Committee College of Health Sciences Representative.
If elected I would bring the experience gained from serving on the University TeP Committee to assist faculty in preparing their portfolio for tenure and promotion. I would advocate for providing faculty workshops and panel discussions that would convey the best practices for portfolio submission. The policies and procedures can be very confusing and my goal would be to demystify the process and lower the stress level for faculty.
Workshops and "how-tos" can be especially helpful for new faculty who may have many questions. The goal would be to provide new faculty with a crystal clear road map with no surprises as they progress through their probation period.
Thank you for your support and vote.
