David Bolton

Department: Professional and Secondary Education

From 2011 until 2015, I was the COE representative on the Promotion and Tenure Workshop Committee. I am interested in representing the College again. As a member, I was involved in the discussions of procedure and in organizing the workshops. I also revised the surveys to gather data about the effectiveness of the workshop, as well as analyzed the results of the survey. I am quite familiar with the work of the Committee and would do a good job in representing COESW and the University.

Karen Dickinson

Department: Counselor Education

Please consider me as a representative for the Promotion and Tenure Workshop committee as I wish to continue to support faculty through the tenure and promotion processes. Serving on an ad-hoc committee for PTW this past year to assist on the new on-line submission process reminded me that this process can both increase excitement and anxiety, and I would like to share in your excitement, and help to decrease any anxiety! I currently serve on multiple Department Evaluation committees, and look forward to doing what I can to help in the tenure and promotion process for the university faculty.
