John Pisciotta

Department: Biology

I am an associate professor in the Biology Department. As someone who has benefited greatly from my own past mentors, I understand just how useful and important effective mentoring is to many new and junior faculty members. Currently, I chair the Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) concentration as well as the Microbiology concentration. In these roles, I have gained valuable experience mentoring new faculty members. I hope to begin mentoring new and junior faculty in additional departments as a member the WCU Faculty Mentoring Committee. Thank you for your consideration.
