Rebecca Chancellor

Department: Anthropology & Sociology and Psychology

This is my second year as a tenure-track faculty member at West Chester University in the Departments of Anthropology & Sociology and Psychology. I am currently an advisor to the Animal Behavior Club, an APSCUF representative, and have served on a number of departmental committees, and I am looking forward to becoming more involved in service at the University level. I participated in the Faculty Mentoring program my first year and really valued the academic advice and exchange I had with my faculty mentor. I am excited to expand my involvement in this program as a member of the committee. Thanks and I appreciate your vote.

Gabrielle Halko

Department: English

It has been my privilege to serve on the FMC for three years, this year as co-chair. In that time, the committee has worked to strengthen and articulate the mission of the FMC; projects in progress include revising our bylaws, expanding our mentoring, and hosting "best practices" gatherings for mentors. I believe that the Faculty Mentoring Committee and the Faculty Mentoring Program are important, inclusive resources on our campus. I would like to continue my work on this committee and help to insure the FMC's continued relevance and vigor. Thanks for your support!

Department: Languages and Cultures

Hello, everyone. My name is Megan Saltzman; I’m a third year tenure-track faculty in Languages and Cultures (Spanish). I would like to serve on the Faculty Mentoring Committee because I believe this committee fits my abilities well. I’m a good one-on-one listener, communicator, and an approachable collaborator who frequently works across disciplines and languages. Also, in the last two years, as my Department has made many hires, I have really enjoyed helping my new colleagues adjust to our Department—assisting them with issues related to administration, teaching, campus environment, housing…etc. Thanks kindly for your support!
