Department: University College

I am very passionate about introducing students to various out of classroom learning opportunities and early exposure to research at the undergraduate level can really impact the student experience and get students thinking about their future aspirations. I was personally exposed to research later in life and wish that I would have been introduced to the process of research as an undergraduate student. I have enjoyed serving as a SURF faculty mentor and I continue to talk with students especially those from backgrounds who are underrepresented in undergraduate research. I look forward to having the opportunity to support in this capacity as well. Thank you.
