Department: Graduate Social Work

Dear Colleagues, I ask for your support in serving as the CESW Representative on the Committee for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. In 2015, I was a recipient of the CELT Professional Development Award and would like to serve the committee as a way to "give back," but also because I see value in the work of the committee and the resources provided to the campus community. Thank you!

Tina Selvaggi

Department: Literacy

I respectfully submit my nomination to serve as CESW representative to CELT. My research interests center around professional development, adult learning, and instructional coaching. Prior to my time at WCU, I worked as a K-12 staff developer. I coached teachers, planned and presented professional development, and revised curriculum at the K-12 level. I look forward to applying these skills to the CELT committee to bring job-embedded and meaningful professional development to WCU.
