Elizabeth Urban

Department: History

I'm excited to nominate myself for the role of College of Arts and Humanities representative on CELT. I have participated in several previous CELT book clubs, as well as a Faculty Learning Community on implementing e-Portfolio in the classroom. I constantly strive to improve my own pedagogy, whether it is by attending Writing Council conferences, taking AI trainings, or using online tools to create engaging, interactive projects for students. I would be delighted to take on a leadership role in developing innovative pedagogical strategies, sharing them with my colleagues, and supporting both faculty and students in their learning journeys at WCU.
