Thomas Haughey

Department: Theatre and Dance

Hello all. I would like to serve as a member of CAPC to represent CVPA. I have served as an appointed member of the I-course review committee for the past three years and would like to use that experience to better service all of CVPA as we go through the upcoming curriculum revision and program changes. Thank you.

Elizabeth Pfaffle

Department: Music- Applied

Hello, I'm Liz Pfaffle in the applied department of the CVPA. I have served as Undergraduate Coordinator for two years for the school of music. I co-authored the newly approved music performance minor for the CVPA in addition to writing three original courses. I have just completed the CAPC documents to turn some of the minor courses into Arts General Education courses. I also serve on the Academic Integrity Board, the Curriculum Committee in the School of Music and the Research Advisory Council. I would love the opportunity to serve on CAPC. Thank you for the consideration.

Elizabeth Staruch

Department: Theatre and Dance

My name is Liz Staruch and I am faculty in the Department of Theatre and Dance. I was honored to serve on CAPC for one year. I continue to support CAPC as a member of the Academic Review committee and have co-chaired the Program Review committee for three years. As a member of my department's curriculum committee, we overhauled our curriculum in 2012 to bring our degree program in line with the Board of Governor’s mandate. My close and attentive work on this inspired me to deepen my commitment of service to the university in terms of curricular issues, and my work with Academic Review has only strengthened that resolve. I would be honored to serve again on CAPC and would appreciate your vote.
