Anne Larrivee

Department: Library

In my role developing strategies related to collection development it's important for me to know how the curriculum is being shaped. Knowledge of the curriculum will guide my ability to set relevant agendas for the collections team and allow me to pass along relevant subject-related information to colleagues. I also look forward to working on this committee because I enjoy thinking about and developing policy. Since my start at West Chester University in 2021, I've helped create a collection development policy and have begun to draft several internal collection workflow policies. Thank you for your consideration.

Department: University Libraries

Dear colleagues: I'm interested in serving on CAPC in a greater capacity to understand how the curriculum is shaped and bring this information back to our department. In my role, I serve as a member of the library's Teaching & Learning Team aimed at providing a consistent experience and shared goals for information literacy instruction, particularly for general education classes. For several years, I've served on the W-Emphasis subcommittee reviewing syllabi and more recently for the W revalidation process. I'm excited to guide my departmental colleagues in creating future curriculum proposals and help us shape and align our efforts to the greater campus community.
