Department: Honors College

Thank you for the opportunity to run for the Honors College seat on CAPC. I have worked at the University since 2001 and held a faculty position since 2004. On CAPC, I held the interim position for the Honors College this year, and I have enjoyed working to align our Honors courses with the current University standards. I understand the position I am running for from the perspective of evaluator, as well as from a proposer's view, and I appreciate the value of CAPC review. In the last year, I have also sat on the Undergraduate Programs Committee (UGPC), which helped me learn the many nuances of review. With the support of my Department, I look forward to continuing on CAPC.
