Rules for the Election

    • Nominees must be from the Department of Sports Medicine.
    • Each department can have at most three representatives on CAPC.
    • The election is decided by a plurality of those casting votes unless such results violate the previous rule or the number of candidates does not exceed the number of positions to fill. In the later case, each candidate will be voted on by an approve/disapprove ballot.
    • Each ballot submitted counts as a cast vote.
    • Members elected to at-large seats cannot be nominated for department representative seats.

Emily Duckett


Department: Sports Medicine

I look forward to the opportunity to serve on CAPC as the College of Health Sciences Sports Medicine Department Representative. I have previously served our department by completing the revalidation process for general education courses in our curriculum. The opportunity will allow me to be actively involved in the development, revision, and recommendation of academic creation of new or existing academic programs. I envision this experience of professional service to be extremely educational and rewarding.
