Department: Professional and Secondary Education

I would be honored to serve as the Department Representative from Educational Foundations & Policy Studies. I have 10 years of experience serving on a college-level curriculum committee for the College of Education & Human Development at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I also have 8 years of experience developing curricula at the department level. During this period, I gained deep knowledge of various aspects of graduate and undergraduate curriculum development including issues related to SLOs at both graduate and undergraduate levels, accreditation, policy development, creating curricular pathways between undergraduate and graduate programs, and facilitating curricular collaboration across colleges and other units.

In my current faculty position, I teach graduate students who are pursuing careers in higher education and student affairs. I would like to lend my share to the maintenance and improvement of curricula, programs and policies at WCU.

Thank you for your consideration.
