Beatrice Adera

Department: Special Education

This is my sixth year as a faculty member in the Special Education Department. I serve as the coordinator for student teaching supervision and member of our department curriculum committee. I am also the department representative to CPE Field Experiences Committee and a member of the CAPC Culture Cluster sub- committee. During my time at WCU, I have had the opportunity to co-author the development of new courses that are part of the Autism minor, currently being offered by our department. I have also had the chance to redesign two upper-level undergraduate courses to hybrid format and three graduate courses to an online format. These experiences helped me gain some insight on how the CAPC process works including the different components that are important for course and program success. Serving as one of the College of Education representatives on CAPC will equip me with additional knowledge and experience in curricular review and development as we continue to collaborate on strengthening our curricular programs and policies. Thanks in advance for you vote.

Cheryl Neale-McFall

Department: Couselor Education

My name is Cheryl Neale-McFall and I would be honored to serve as our CAPC departmental representative. I am in my fourth year here at West Chester University and in that time I have had the opportunity to serve on many departmental and college committees. I also had the opportunity to serve on the Program Review Subcommittee, a component of the CAPC Academic Review Committee. This subcommittee performed the important task of reviewing the previous year’s PASSHE Program Review Reports in order to produce a report for CAPC based on analysis and findings. I would now like to extend that experience to serving as a full-time member of CAPC in order to assist in developing, revising and recommending academic programs and academic policies. I thank you for your time.

Diane Santori

Department: Literacy

This is my eighth year at WCU and I would be honored to serve as the Literacy Department's representative on CAPC. From 2012-2014, I served as the College of Education representative on CAPC and co-chaired the Course Review and Revalidation Subcommittee. I found this work to be informative and important for the university. I was the co-chair of the Committee for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) these past two years. I believe my knowledge and experience from the various committees I have served on and the departmental work that I have engaged in would be an asset to the CAPC process. Thank you.
