David Jones

Department: Art and Design

I am pleased to volunteer to serve as the Department of Art + Design representative on the Curriculum and Academic Policies Council. I am due to begin my second three-year term as department chair, and subsequently, this role would align closely with my responsibilities in that capacity. Participation on the council will enhance my ability to mentor junior faculty, align departmental curricula with university-wide objectives, and contribute meaningfully to policies that promote student success. I am prepared to dedicate the time and effort necessary to continue the council's important work of strengthening academic programs and expanding opportunities that benefit our students and the broader university community.
