Elizabeth Staruch

Department: Theatre and Dance

My name is Liz Staruch and I am faculty in the Department of Theatre and Dance. During my time on CAPC, I have been a member of the Undergraduate Policies committee, the Academic Review committee, and chaired the Program Review committee. On behalf of my department, I co-chaired Theatre and Dance's reaccreditation process. I am also past co-chair of the CAH Faculty Advisory committee, acting to support the CAH re-organization in part by drafting new mission and vision statements for the college. Nationally, I am a Regional Director of the American College Dance Association and founded/moderate an online arts faculty discussion group during the pandemic, currently numbering over 3000 worldwide members. All of these experiences serve as inspiration to deepen my commitment of service to the university in terms of faculty support and curricular issues. I would be honored to serve on CAPC and would appreciate your vote.
