Rules for the Election

    • Nominees must be from the Department of Public Policy and Administration.
    • Each department can have at most three representatives on CAPC.
    • The election is decided by a plurality of those casting votes unless such results violate the previous rule or the number of candidates does not exceed the number of positions to fill. In the later case, each candidate will be voted on by an approve/disapprove ballot.
    • Each ballot submitted counts as a cast vote.
    • Members elected to at-large seats cannot be nominated for department representative seats.

Department: Public Policy and Administration

I would be honored to serve on the Curriculum and Academic Policies Council (CAPC) and feel my eight plus years here at West Chester University within the Department of Public Policy and Administration have prepared me well serve on this important council. I wish to serve from varied perspectives, inclusive of both graduate and undergraduate studies, as well as from department, college, and university-wide points-of-view.
